I am now retired and live in Leicestershire with my husband and our dog.

When I was working I used to write a lot silly odes, to mark various occasions, for my co workers which I really enjoyed doing. One such ode was read out at my best friends wedding. I also wrote a lot when I was at school (which was a very long time ago). As I haven't written anything for a long time, I was really excited to have won this.

It has spurred me on to to go back to writing and see what I can do.
